PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

FOR ATHLETES RESIDING IN ITALY (ITALIAN AND FOREIGN)

FIDAL MEMBERSHIP

​During registration, the following data will be requested:

​

  • NUMBER FIDAL card

  • CODE FIDAL company

  • FIRST NAME FIDAL company

​

It will not be necessary to attach any medical certificateso long as already contained in the FIDAL database linked to your card.

RUNCARD MEMBERSHIP

+ COMPETITIVE SPORTS MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR ATHLETICS

(Runcard members are excluded from all prize-giving ceremonies, as per FIDAL regulations).​

The RUNCARD can be subscribed to online at www.runcard.com and is valid for 12 months.

​

For members of a Sports Promotion Body (EPS), it is necessary to subscribe to a RUNCARD-EPS.

​

The following information will be requested during registration:

  • RUNCARD NUMBER (code to be entered preceded by the initials RR)

  • MEDICAL CERTIFICATE issued in Italy, competitive sports medical certificate for athletics.

The terms "Jogging", "Marathon", "Running", etc. and indications of other disciplines other than athletics are NOT valid.

IMPORTANT

  • The certificate must NOT state "for private use"

  • The certificate must comply with article 5DM 18/2/82

MEMBERSHIP IN A FOREIGN FEDERATION RECOGNIZED BY WORLD ATHLETICS 

(*Only for foreign athletes residing in Italy)

You can become a member of a running club affiliated with the Athletics Federation of the country where you reside, presenting the medical certificate required in your country.

Find your country's Federation on the website www.worldathletics.org

​

The following information will be required during registration:

  • MEMBERSHIP number

  • NAME of the running club

  • A COPY of the membership card must be attached

FOR ITALIAN AHTLETES RESIDING ABROAD

FIDAL MEMBERSHIP

During registration, the following data will be requested:

​

  • NUMBER FIDAL card

SPORT-TOURISM PARTICIPATION "NON-COMPETITIVE"

In Italy, if you don't have any Italian sports membership, you can participate as a "Non-competitive" athlete by completing the LIABILITY WAIVER FORM.

 

LIMITATIONS

  • Your position will not be shown in the rankings (but you will still find your time).

  • You are not eligible for prizes, bonuses, expense reimbursements, etc.

​

All race services, such as the chip on the bib, refreshments, participation gadgets, medal, etc., are included with this type of registration.

​

At the end of the event, you can download a certificate of participation to prove your certified time in any other event.
